Answered Prayers!!
Already, the money needed for the January deadline has been met! Wooh! I want to think all of those that sent money in :) It is a big relief.
Our mission team will be made up if 31 students and twelve adults from the Christian school I attend. Together, we will be working on repair, construction work, and painting. We will also be helping with Vacation Bible School for the local children and have the oppurtunity to teach teenagers and adults english. Our main goal is to become friends with the Dominicans so we can show them the love of Jesus Christ. Our team will be leaving June 5th and returning June 16th.
Specific Prayer Requests
-that i will be prepared to minister in whatever way God chooses.
-that i will be to truly love those with whom i come in contact.
- that the team i am apart of will be well prepared and that we will work well together.
-that our team stays safe and healthy throughout the trip.
-that our team members will be wise and culturally sensitive.
-that many people will come to know Christ through our ministry.
-that our host school will be greatly blessed.
-that I will learn more about God and what part he wants me to play in His work.
-that my financal needs, which come to about $1760, will be provided by April 14th.
